男の人と女の人が、これから本屋に行きます。女の人は何を買うつもりですか。
女：ねえ。これから本屋に行くんだけど、一緒に行かない？英語の辞書がほしいって言ってたでしょ？
男：あ、辞書は、電子辞書を買ったらいいですが、ほしい雑誌があるから、いきます。
田中さんは何を買うんですか。
女：ガイドブック。今度の休みに京都へ行く予定なの。詳しい地図の載ったものがほしいの。ついでに、私も週刊誌買うわ。あの本屋、大きくないけれど、雑誌コーナーは、充実していていいよね。
男：はい、本当に。ぼくのほしい雑誌は普通の本屋にはないけれど、あそこにはあるんですよ。
女の人は、何を買うんですか。

1. Catch the topic and the question :
The situation taking place here is:
男の人と女の人が、これから本屋に行きます
The man and the woman will go to the bookstore from now on.
The question is:
女の人は何を買うつもりですか。What is the woman going to buy?
2. Note the main ideas:
In this form of listening, you need to pay attention to the words that describe the things that the woman want. You should focus on key words instead of trying to listen all the sentences then missing important words.
After listening, we have some key words as follows:
ガイドブック : guidebook
週刊誌: weekly magazine
雑誌コーナー: the magazine corner
地図: map
3. Choosing the answer:
According to what we have noted, we can deduct:
The things that the man want: 電子辞書, 雑誌
The things that the woman want: ガイドブック, 週刊誌
+ The woman want a guidebook with a detailed map (詳しい地図), not a map => Answer 2 is not true.
+ The English dictionary (英語の辞書) is the thing that the man want => Answer 3 is not true.
+ Similar to answer 2, answer 4 includes a map (地図) => Answer 4 is not true.
