男の人が歯医者に電話をしています。男の人は、いつ歯医者に行くことになりましたか。
男：すみません。明日の6時に予約している田中ですが、明日から10日間出張することになりまして…。帰ってからでは…。
女：そうですね。では、今から来られますか。
男：いえ、すぐに出られないので、えっとー6時なら…。
女：わかりました。予約の方がいらっしゃいますから、ちょっとお待ちいただくと思いますけれど…
男：はい、大丈夫です。すみません。
男の人は、いつ歯医者に行くことになりましたか。
Translation for Reference :
A man is calling the dentist. When will the man go to the dentist?
The man: Excuse me. I’m Tanaka who made a reservation at 6 o’clock tomorrow, but I will be on a business trip for 10 days from tomorrow… So after coming back…
The woman: Is that so. Can you come here now?
The man: No, I can’t go out right now, how about at 6 o’clock…
The woman: I got it. There is another customer that made a reservation at that time, so please wait for a while…
The man: Yes, that’s alright. Thank you very much.

1. Catch the topic and the question :
The situation taking place here is:
男の人が歯医者に電話をしています
A man is calling the dentist.
The question is:
男の人は、いつ歯医者に行くことになりましたか。
When will the man go to the dentist?
2. Note the main ideas:
In this form of listening, you need to pay attention to the words that describe the time. And you should also focus on key words instead of trying to listen all the sentences then missing important words.
After listening, we have some key words as follows:
明日の6時: at 6 o’clock tomorrow
明日から10日間出張: will be on a business trip for 10 days from tomorrow
今から: from now
6時: 6 o’clock
3. Choosing the answer:
According to what we have noted, we can deduct:
+ The man said he couldn’t go out immediately (すぐに出られない) when he was asked whether he could come then => Answer 1 is not true
+ Because the man will be on a business trip for 10 days from tomorrow (明日から10日間出張), he asked to change his appointment, which was at 6:00 tomorrow= > Answer 3 is not true
+ The man also asked to change the appointment after the business trip ( 帰ってからでは), but the woman told him to come now (今から来られますか)
+ About the appointment at 6 o’clock today, the woman said because there was another customer, the man might have to wait for a while (予約の方がいらっしゃいますから、ちょっとお待ちいただくと思いますけれど), and the man agreed with that (大丈夫) .
So we choose answer 2. 今日の6時ごろ
