男の人と女の人が、車のパンフレットを見ながら話しています。二人は、どのタイプの車を買いますか。
男：これ、かっこいいよなー。
女：だめだめ、そんな２人しか乗れないのは。あなたのお父さんやお母さんも乗せることがあるし、私たちだって、赤ちゃんができるかもしれないし。
男：わかってるよ。ただ、こんあ車に乗るのが夢だったんだよ。えーっと、長いものを入れることもあるから、大きいけど、こいうのにしよか。
女：うん、いいかもー。でもー。うちのガレージ低いのに、入りの？
男：あー、無理だ。じゃ、やっぱり、このタイプしかないよね。
女：うん、これで決まりね。値段は安くないけどね、色はなにがいい？
２人は、どのタイプの車を買いますか。

The man and the woman are looking at the car brochure and talking with each other. What kind of car will they buy?
Man: It is cool, isn’t it?
Woman: No, no. This car has 2 seats. Your parents may get on and we may have children.
Man: I know it. But sitting on a car like this is my dream. Well then, because it might be a long one. Though it’s a bit big, choose this.
Woman: Um. But our garage is a bit low, can the car fit it?
Man: A, it can’t. So this is the only one.
Woman: Um, decide this one. The price is not cheap, so what color can it be?
Which car will they buy ?

In order to understand and make this type of lesson effectively, you can apply the following steps:
1. Catch the topic and the question:
First of all, you need to understand what the situation, the story there is?

The man and the woman are looking at the car brochure and talking to each other
=> Subject: Car
The question is:
二人は、どのタイプの車を買いますか。
What kind of car will they buy?
2. Note the main ideas:
Basing on the topic and the question, you need to find important key words. With the theme of cars, you need to pay attention to the characteristics of vehicle description such as adjectives, number of seats, colors, ….
After listening, we have some key words as follows:
２人：two people
長いもの : long thing
大きい: large
ガレージ：garge
無理：Impossible
3. Choosing the answer:
Anwser is 4
Basing on the key words we have, we proceed with the analysis as follows:
At first when the man praised this beautiful car, the woman did not agree because this car could only sit for 2 people「２人しか乗れない」 (answer 1 ). Their parents may get on the car, and later they will have children so this car is not suitable. => answer 1 is not correct
The man said that he would need a long 「長いもの」、big「大きいけど」car. But the woman said that their garage was low「うちのガレージ低い, this car is impossible. => answer 3 is not correct.
Therefore the car is both long and low to fit into the garage is only answer 4.
