Write a paragraph about strengths and weaknesses

Opening

Watashi ni wa, tansho to chousho dochira mo aru.
I have both strengths and weaknesses.

Tabun tansho no hou ga ooi no dewanai darou ka.
I may have more weaknesses than strengths.

Dewa, naze tansho no hou ga ooi to ieru no ka, kangaete mita.
Then I tried to think why I have more weaknesses than strengths.

Watashi wa, uchikina seikaku de, neoki wa kigen ga warui shi, sugu okorushi, benkyou-chuu wa sugu nete shimaushi, ketten bakari no jibun ga tamani iya ni naru.
I’m a shy person, I’m cranky when I wake up, get angry immediately, fall asleep while studying, and sometimes I hate myself because of having so many weaknesses.

Konoaida mo benkyou-chuu ni nete shimai, sugu ni jikan ga tatte shimatta.
Recently, I fell asleep while studying and time passed immediately.

Body

Tashika ni, jibun no ketten ga wakaru nodattara naoshite iku beki da to omou.
Surely, if you know your weaknesses, you should fix them.

Watashi mo saikin, benkyouchuu ni nete shimau koto no nai you ni, benkyou mae ni sukoshi no jikan demo ii kara ne tari, tomodachi ni mo jibun kara hanashikake tari shite uchikina seikaku wo naosou to shite iru.
Recently, I sleep for a short time before studying so that I won’t fall asleep while studying, and I try to fix my shy personality by talking to friends.

Watashi wa, ketten wo naoshite itta okage de, shin gakki ni atarashii tomodachi ga dekita.
Thanks to fixing the weaknesses, I have made new friends in the new semester.

Jibun no ketten wo naoshite iku to, yoi koto ga takusan aru.
When you fix your weaknesses, good things will come to you.

Dakara watashi wa, ketten wa naosubekida to omou.
So I think we should fix our weaknesses.

Shikashi, chousho wo nobasu to iu koto ga daijida to iu kangae mo aru.
However, developing our strengths is also important.

Ima made sanzan jibun no tansho ni tsuite nobete kitaga, watashi ni mo chousho wa aru.
I have talked about my weaknesses so far, but I also have strengths.

Mazu, ichido kimeta koto wa saigo made yari nuku to iu koto.
The first one is that once I have decided something, I will do it to the end.

Soshite, ichido no shippaide wa akiramenai to iu koto.
And I won’t give up after a failure.

Ato mou hitotsu wa, mono wo taisetsu ni tsukatte iru to iu koto.
Another one is that I use things carefully.

I feel happy with the things I have whatever they are.

Konna yoi chousho wo motte iru nodakara, tansho ijou ni chousho no hou wo nobashite itta hou ga yoi to watashi wa omou.
Because I have such good strengths, I think it would be better to develop my strengths rather than pay attention to my weaknesses.

Watashi wa ima, tenisu-bu ni haitte ite, renshuu ga kitsui to iu koto mo ari, yametai to omotta koto mo atta.
I am in a tennis club now, the practice is sometimes hard, so I used to want to quit.

Demo shikkari de kite iru.
But I still come to the club regularly.

Ending

Chousho ya tansho wo nobashi tari naoshi tari shite iku koto mo taisetsu da ga, shikashi mottomo taisetsuna no wa, jibun jishin wo koujousaseru to iu mokuteki de aru.
It’s important to develop strengths and fix weaknesses, but the most important thing is to improve yourself.

Strengths and weaknesses are ways to do that.

“Jisho no youna ningen ni naru koto dake denaku, jisho wo umaku tsukaeru ningen ni naru koto ga benkyou no mokuteki de aru.” to iu meigen ga aru you ni, jibunjishin no koujou no tame ni, chousho to tansho wo umaku tsukatte ikitai to omou.
Like a famous saying: “The purpose of studying is not only to become a dictionary, but also to become a person who can use the dictionary well”, I want to use my strengths and weaknesses well to improve myself.
