Opening

“Oki teru?” Unazukinagara tokeiwomiru to, itsumo yori mo yaya osokatta.
I looked at the watch while nodding “Am I awake?”, it was a bit later than usual.

Yabai to omoinagara mo, kigae no seifuku wo bonyari to mitsume, nido tokei o mita.
Although I thought I was in trouble, I stared blankly at the uniform and looked at the watch again.

Mou hachi-ji datta.
It was already 8 o’clock.

Body

When I went hurriedly to the first floor, my mother wasn’t there because she sent my younger sister to the elementary school.

Isoide asa gohan no o mochi wo tabe, ESOL no shukudai no honyomi wo sumase, hamigaki wo shi ni ni-kai e modotta.
I ate rice cakes for breakfast quickly, finished reading ESOL’s homework and returned to the second floor to brush my teeth.

Because the school starts late, I leave home at 8:45.

Komyunitiisentaa de basu ga kuru no wo machi, oshi ainagara mo nantoka seki ni tsuku to, totemo abunai amerikahito no unten de gakkou made iku.
I wait for the bus at the community center, I get to the seat while jostling, then I go to school with the very dangerous driving of an American driver.

Doraibaa no hito ni “arigatou.” to iinagara basu wo oriru to, tomodachi ga atsumatte hanashite iru.
When I got off the bus while saying “Thank you” to the driver, my friends were gathering and talking.

Kono shuudan wa ESOL to iu, eigo ga mada shaberenai hitotachida.
This group is called ESOL and it includes people who can’t speak English yet.

There are many people from Cuba, Brazil, Colombia and so on. Conversely, I am the only Asian.

Jugyou ga owaru to isoide jibun no basu ga doko ni tomatte iru no ka wo sagasanakereba naranai.
When the class is over, I must find where my bus stops hurriedly.

Naze hayaku shinakute wa naranai no ka to iu to, saigo no jugyou no sensei wa ijiwaru de, nakanaka watashitachi wo kaihou shite kurenaikarada.
The reason why I must do it quickly is that the teacher in the class is unkind, he won’t release us easily.

Buji, komyunitiisentaa ni kaette kuru to, itsumo wa mukae ni kitekurenai haha ga, mezurashiku “atsuikara.” to iu riyuu de kite ita.
When I safely returned to the community center, my mother, who doesn’t usually come to pick me up, came for the reason “Because it’s hot”.

Ureshiku omoinagara kuruma ni notte ie made kaeru to, sassoku pasokon ni mukai, meeruwo chekku.
I happily got on the car and end when I came home, I immediately headed to my computer and checked mail.

Iroirona Nihon no tomodachi ga meeru shite kurerunode tanoshimida.
I’m happy because there are many Japanese friends sending mail to me.

Kyou wa tokubetsu shukudai ga sukunakattanode, konpyuutaa wo takusan yarete, sugoku ureshikatta.
Because I didn’t have many homework today, I could use computer a little but longer. I was very happy.

Yuushoku wo tabenagara DVD wo mita.
In the evening, I watched DVD while eating dinner.

「Night at the Museum」
“Night at the Museum” wa, totemo omoshirokute, warawanaide wa i rarenakatta.
The movie “Night at the Museum” was very interesting and I couldn’t help laughing.

Ending

Kyou wa, totemo heiwa de tanoshii tsuitachidatta. Mainichi kinyoudattara yume no you da.
