電話で、エアコンの取付工事について話しています。工事は何時になりましたか。

女 : はい、田中でございます。

男 : あ、コドー電機です…どうも。エアコンの取り付けの件なんですが…。

女 : あ、はい、今日の３時でしたよね。

男 : はい、そうなんですが、１時からのお客様に連絡が取れないもんですから、よろしければ、先にさせていただこうと…。

女 : あ、そうですか、こちらは早いほうが助かりますけど、いまちょっと、取り込んでいるので、３０分あとでもいいですか。

男 : えーっと、１時半ですか…あ、ちょっとすみません…（２？あ、そう）…あ、失礼しました、えーっと、今、お客さんと連絡が取れたようで…。すぐに来てほしいということで、すみません。

女 : あ、そうですか。じゃあ、予定通りですね。

男 : ええ、多少時間は前後しますんで、伺う前にお電話します。

女 : はい、じゃ、３時頃ということで。

男 : どうも、かえって、すみませんでした。じゃ、よろしくお願いします。

工事は何時になりましたか。

１．１時頃

取り込む（とりこむ） : to be busy

前後（ぜんご） : before and after, front and back

Translation for Reference :

A person is talking about the air conditioner installation work. What time will the installation begin?

Woman : This is Tanaka.

Man : Oh, I’m from the Kodo appliances company. I would like to talk about installing the air conditioner…

Woman : Oh, yes, it is 3 o’clock today, isn’t it?

Man : That’s right. But I can’t get in touch with the customers from 1 o’clock, so if it is possible, I will do it for you first….

Woman : Is that so? It’s better to do it soon here, but I’m busy now, so can you do it after 30 minutes?

Man : Well, it’s 1:30, isn’t it? Oh, excuse me… (2? Oh, yes)… Ah, I’m sorry, well, it looks like I’ve been able to contact the customers now, they said they wanted us to come soon. I’m sorry.

2. Note the main ideas:

According to the topic, you should focus on important key words relating to the air conditioner installation work.

取り付け（とりつけ） : installation

連絡が取れない／取れる（れんらくがとれない／とれる）: can’t/ can get it touch

取り込んでいる（とりこんでいる） : to be busy

早い（はやい） : soon

予定通り（よていとおり） : as planned

3. Choosing the answer:

The man calls the woman to talk about the air conditioner installation, because he can’t get in touch with the other customers  連絡が取れない, he told her that he would install the air conditioner for the woman first. But then he found that he could contact the other customers, so the woman said [予定通りですね] (as planned) – around 3 o’clock.

So we choose answer ４．３時頃
