ホテルのロービで、男の人が話しています。これから何をする予定ですか。

男：こちらが、ホテルのお食事のチケットです。夕食は7時、朝食は6時半からです。時間になりましたら、直接、この右手奥のレストランのほうまでお越しください。これから、皆さん一緒に、美術館見学に参りますが、その後、夕食までは、お買い物をされたり、ホテルに戻ってお部屋でくつろがれたり、ご自由にお過ごしください。なお、たいていのお店は、6時にはしまってしまいますので、お買い物をされる方は、お早めに行かれたほうがいいかと思います。

これから、何をする予定ですか。

１．レストランに行く

２．美術館に行く

３．買い物に行く

４．ホテルの部屋にいく

A man is talking at the hotel’s lobby. From now on, What are they going to do?

Man: Here is a ticket for a hotel meal. Dinner is from 7 am and breakfast is from 6:30. When it is time, please come directly to the restaurant on the right. From now on, we will visit the art museum together, but after that, please freely spend your time going shopping or going back to the hotel relaxing until dinner. In addition, most shops close at six o’clock, so if you want to go shopping, I think you should go early.

1. Catch the topic and the question:

First, you need to know what is the story, the situation?

=> Topic: Because of mentioning a hotel, the topic is possibly about tourism

Question :

これから何をする予定ですか。

From now on, What are they going to do?

=> With this type of lesson, you need to focus on noting the order of actions.

2.Note the main ideas:

In this type, you need to get important words about the actions and activities mentioned in the listening.

夕食（ゆうしょく）dinner

朝食（ちょうしょく）breakfast

美術館見学（びじゅつかんけんがく）visit the art museum

お買い物（おかいもの) go shopping

お部屋でくつろぐ（おへやでくつろぐ）relax in your room

3. Choose answer:

Answer: ２．美術館に行く

Basing on the key words, perform the analysis as follows:

Dinner: starts at 7 p.m (夕食は7時)

Thanks to その後、夕食までは ( from after that to dinner time), we know that visiting art museum will take place before going shopping and relaxing in the room.

Order of actions: visit art museum -> go shopping or relax in the room -> eat dinner

Therefore, correct answer is 2. 美術館に行く(go to the art museum)
