JLPT N2 Grammar lesson 28. Hi everyone! In this article, LearnJapanesedaily will introduce to you the JLPT N2 Grammar. Each lesson will consist of about 5 structures for you to learn step by step and have more time to practise.

Structure 136:

N1も Vば N2も VるN1も Aければ N2も AいN1も Aなら N2も AなだN1も Nなら N2も Nだ


N1 and N2 also ~

For example:

Kare wa benkyou mo dekireba supootsu mo dekiru.
He studies well and plays sports also well.

Watashi wa uta mo heta nara dansu mo hetada.
I sing badly and dance also badly.

Structure 137:

Vる/ Vない/Aい/ Aくない/ Aな + ものだ/もんだ


To be (to emphasize), to be ~ things.

For example:

Kusuri wa nigai monoda.
Medicines are bitter things.

Structure 138:

Vる ものではない/もんじゃない


Should not do something.

For example:

Meue no hito ni sonna iikata o suru monodewanai.
Should not talk like that to the seniors.

Kuchi no naka ni mono o ireta mama shaberu monodewanai.
Should not talk with food in your mouth.

Structure 139:

Vる/ Aな/ N+ というものだ/というもんだ


To explain, talk about something indispensable.

For example:

Kyouchuu ni kore o zenbu owaraseru no wa muri to iu monoda.
Can’t finish it all today, this is impossible.

Yonaka ni denwa o shite kuru no wa hijoushiki to iu monoda.
There is no reason to call at midnight.

Structure 140:

Vる/ A/ Nな + ものか/ものですか


Absolutely not ~/ Definitely not.
No way that…

For example:

Anna mise, nido to iku monoka.
There is no way I’m going to go to that store for a second time.

Genkina monka. Itakutada yo.
I’m not feeling well at all. I’m exhausted.

Ureshii mon desuka. Komatte irundesu.
I’m not feeling happy at all. I’m in trouble.
