JLPT N2 Grammar lesson 10. Hi everyone! In this article, LearnJapanesedaily will introduce to you the JLPT N2 Grammar. Each lesson will consist of about 5 structures for you to learn step by step and have more time to practise.

Structure 46:

Nと/ Vると + ともに


Along with ~

For example:

Kazoku to tomoni rainichi shita.
I went to Japanese along with my family.

Jidousha ga fukyuu suru to tomoni, jiko mo zouka shita.
Along with an increase in car number, the number of accidents has also increased.

Structure 47:

Nに/ Vるのに/ Vたのに + ともない/ともなって/ともなうN


At the same time with ~

For example:

Jinkou no zouka no tomonai, shigen no shouhiryou mo fueru.
As the population has increased, the consumption has also increased at the same time.

Marason taikai ga okonawareru no ni tomonatte, kono douro wa tsuukoudome ni narimasu.
As the marathon festival being taken place, the street is also blocked at the same time.

Structure 48:

Nに/ Vるに + つれて/つれ


Results in ~
Used to show a relation between two things.

For example:

Toshi o toru ni tsurete, karada no iroirona kinou ga teika suru.
As people age, many body’s functions will decline.

Machi no hatten ni tsurete, shizen ga sukunaku natta.
Along with the urbanization advancement, the size of natural land has been decreased.

Structure 49:

Nに/ Vるに + したがって/したがい


According to N/ The more ~ the more

For example:

Kita e iku ni shitagatte, momiji wa hayaku naru.
The closer it is to the north pole, the sooner fall comes.

Yoteihyou ni shitagai, gakushuu o susumeru.
According to the schedule, I will ensure my studying.

Structure 50:

Vる/Vた/Nの + とおり/とおりに/とおりだ/とおりのN


Just like ~

For example:

Tomodachi ga itta toori, nihon no bukka ga takai.
Just like what my friend has said, the prices in Japan is very high.

Jibun no omou toori ni ikiru koto wa muzukashii.
Just like what I think, life is hard.

Kibou doori.
Just as desired.
