男の人が、アンケートの結果を説明しています。アンケートの結果は、どうでしたか。

男：先日の、大学の建設についての、アンケートの結果をお知らせします。地域の住民の半分以上が、このアンケートに答えてくれました。これを見る限りでは、住民の意見は反対より賛成のほうが多いという結果になっています。ただし、わずかに上回っているという程度で、どちらともいえないという人が、3分の１近くいます。そういう人たちの理解を得るためにも、引き続き説明をしていくことが必要だと思います。

アンケートの結果は、どうでしたか。

１．半分以上反対している

２．3分の２以上の人が賛成している

３．賛成でも反対でもない人がやく3分の１いる

４．賛成より反対の人のほうが多い

Translation for Reference :

A man is explaining the results of the questionnaire. How was the results of the questionnaire?

By looking at this, we can see that residents agree more than disagree. However, there are nearly one-third of people who have no idea. How was the results of the questionnaire?

=> With this form of listening, you need to focus on listening to information related to the data that indicates the results of the survey.

2. Note the main ideas:

You need to pay attention to the following keywords:

半分以上（はんたいいじょう）: more than half

反対より賛成（はんたいよりさんせい）: agree more than disagree

わずかに上回っている（わずかうわまわている）: slightly exceed

3分の１（３ぶんのいち）: one-third

3. Choosing the answer:

Answer: ３．賛成でも反対でもない人が約3分の１いる

+ The man said: “More than half of local residents answered this survey” (このアンケートに答えてくれました) => We eliminate answer 1 (More than half of local residents disagree)

+ The man only said that residents agreed more than disagreed (住民の意見は反対より賛成のほうが多い), he didn’t said that there are two-thirds of people agree => We eliminate answer 2

+ As above, the man said that residents agreed more than disagreed => We eliminate answer 4

+ The man also said that there were nearly one-third of people who have no idea (どちらともいえないという人が、3分の１近くいます), which means there is one-third of people who neither agree nor disagree (賛成でも反対でもない人がやく3分の１いる)

So the correct answer is: 3. About one-third of people who neither agree nor disagree
