Lesson 5 : ポストはどこですか。(posuto wa doko desuka.) : Where is the post?

1. 会話を聞いて、絵と合っているものに〇、ちがうものに✕をつけてください。
Kaiwa wo kiite, e to atte iru mono ni 〇, chigau mono ni ✕ wo tsukete kudasai.
Write 〇 next to the correct answers and ✕ next to the wrong ones.

B : doa wa mado no migi ni arimasu.

B : It’s to the right of the window.

B：花はテレビの上にあります。

B : hana wa terebi no ue ni arimasu.

B : They are on the TV?

B : Teepu rekoodaa desuka. Eeto, teepu rekoodaa wa asoko ni <teepu rekoodaa wa asoko ni arimasu.>
A : Excuse me. Where is the tape recorder?
B : The tape recorder? Well, over there <The tape recorder is over there.>

A：あの、タンさんはいませんか。

3. 会話を聞いて、例のように、選んでください。

B：いいえ、あの人はアンナさんです。あの時計の下ですよ。マリアさんは時計の下にいます。
A：ああ、わかりました。あれがマリアさんですか。
Maria-san wa dono hito desuka.
A：nene, Maria-san wa dono hito desuka.
B：Maria-san? Maria-san wa ano hito desu yo.
A : e-, dono hito desuka. Asoko no doa no mae desuka.
B : iie, ano hito wa Anna-san desu. Ano tokei no shita desu yo. Marian-san wa tokei no shita ni imasu.

Who is Maria?

②　リンさんのねこはどこにいますか。

B：あれです。わたしのねこははこの中にいます。
A：はこの中ですか。テーブルの下のはこですか。
B：いいえ、窓のそばにいすがありますね。わたしのねこはそのいすの上にいます。いすの上のはこの中ですよ。

Rin-san no neko wa doko ni imasuka.
A：Rin-san, Rin-san no neko wa dore desuka.
B：are desu. Watashi no neko wa hako no naka ni imasu.
A : hako no naka desuka. Teeburu no shita no hako desuka.
B : iie, mado no soba ni isu ga arimasu ne. Watashi no neko wa sono isu no ue ni imasu. Isu no ue no hako no naka desu yo.
A：aa, are desuka.
Where is Rin’s cat?
A : Rin, which is your cat?
B : That cat. It’s in the box.
A : In the box? Is that the box under the table?

③　タンさんのうちはどこですか。

B：ぎんごうとスーパーの間にアパートがあります。わたしのうちはあのアパートの２階です。
A：ああ、そうですか。

B：asoko desu. Kouen no mae desu.
A : eeto, kouen no hidari desuka.
B : iie, kouen no mae ni ginkou to suupaa ga arimasu ne.
A：ee.
B : ginkou to suupaa no aida ni apaato ga arimasu. Watashi no uchi wa ano apaato no nikai desu.
A : aa, soudesuka.
Where is Tan’s house?
A : Tan, where is your house?
B : It’s over there. It’s in front of the park.
A : Is that the house to the left of the park?
B : No, there is a bank and a supermarket in front of the park, right?
A：Yeah.
B : There is an apartment between the bank and the supermarket. My house in on the second floor of that apartment.
A : I see.

④　ポストはどこにありますか。
A：あの、すみません、このちかくにポストありませんか。
B：ポストですか。

B：ええと、あそこに大きな本やがありますね。
A：ああ、ぎんこうの前ですね。
B：ええ、あの本やのとなりにくすりやがあります。ポストはくすりやの前です。
A：ああ、わかりました。ありがとうございました。
Posuto wa doko ni arimasuka.
A：ano, sumimasen, kono chikaku ni posuto arimasenka.
B：posuto desuka
A : hai.
B : eeto, asoko ni ooki na hon’ya ga arimasu ne.
A：aa, ginkou no mae desu ne.
B : ee, ano hon’ya no tonari ni kusuriya ga arimasu. Posuto wa kusuriya no mae desu.

Where is the post?
A : Excuse me, is there a post near here?
B : The post?
A : Yes.
B : Well, there is a large bookstore over there, right?

Watashi no apaato wa Nakano ni arimasu. Heya wa nihyaku-ichi gou shitsu desu. Kono heya ni Tan-san to isshoni imasu. Minami gawa ni mado ga arimasu. Mado no soba ni tsukue ga arimasu. Tsukue no ue ni hon ya denki sutando ga arimasu. Terebi wa hondana no ue ni arimasu. Denwa wa, mada arimasen.
My apartment is in Nakano. I live in room 201. I live with Mr. Tan in this room. On the south side of the room, there is a window. There is a desk next to the window. There are books and a desk lamp on the desk. The TV is on the bookshelf. There is no phone yet.
