Meaning and how to use :
Expresses the opposite thing or vague information.
For example
明日とかあさって提出するとか言って、本当に怠慢な人だ。
asu toka asatte teishutsu suru toka itu te hontouni taiman na hito da
He said he would summit it tomorrow or the day after tomorrow, such a lazy guy.
彼は自分で行くとか山田さんは代わりに行くとか言って、決まり悪い人だね。
kare ha jibun de iku toka yamata san ha kawari ni iku toka itu te kimari warui hito da ne
He is such an indecisive person, saying he would go by himself one time, Mr. Yamada will go instead the other time.
彼女はこのようにしろとかそのようにしろとか言って、僕はどのようにするといいかわからない。
kanojo ha kono you ni shiro toka sono you ni shiro toka itu te boku ha dono you ni suru to ii ka wakara nai
First she told me to do it like this, then she told me to do it like that, I don’t know how to do it anymore.
あの人が明日返すとか今お金がないとか言って、今までも私が貸したお金を返さない。
ano hito ga asu kaesu toka ima okane ga nai toka itu te ima made mo watakushi ga kashi ta okane wo kaesa nai
He said that he would pay it the following day, then he said he didn’t have any money then, till now he hasn’t paid me back the money I lent him.
上司は来るとかこられないとか言って、私に待たせてばかりいる。
joushi ha kuru to kako rare nai toka itu te watakushi ni mata se te bakari iru
The superior kept me waiting all the time, saying he would come, then saying wouldn’t come anymore.
Note: 「いう」 can be removed.
