Grammar section consists of 24 questions, compared to the N3 test, in the N2 test, the Grammar section is included in the Language knowledge.
1.2. Grammar
Grammar section consists of 3 types of questions:
1.2.1. Grammar in a passage -1
– Goal: Assessing the ability to choose the right grammar to match the content.
– Number of questions: About 12.
For example:
1.2.3. Grammar in a passage -2 : Building a sentence
– Goal: Assessing the ability to form a grammatical sentence that makes sense.
– Number of questions: About 5.
For example:
1.2.4. Grammar in a passage
– Goal: Assessing the ability to select words, sentences following the flow of the passage.
– Number of questions: About 5.

It doesn’t say how many passages or passages per question. Some reading parts of the exam, there are 3 questions for each passage (which i am trying to look for but taking a long time to find) but this feels like there’s 1 question for each passage which is inaccurate. Would be helpful to include this.
as you said, some reading parts especially long ones have more than one questions.
