女の人と男の人が電話で話しています。
女：もしもし、加藤君、ミカだけど。
男：あー、ミカちゃん、ごめーん！招待状の出席の返事、まだ出してないよ。
女：ううん、出席するって返事はもらってるから、それはいいの。実はね、披露宴で、やってもらいたいことがあって。
男：えーっ！スピーチならお断りだよ。おれ、そういうの苦手だから。
女：あのね、スピーチっていっても、手品も少し入れて、楽しいものにしてほしいの。
男：手品？手品は得意だからいいけど、何かしゃべんないといけないでしょ。
女：少しぐらいは何か言ってよー。加藤君、私たち2人のこと、よく知っているんだから。
男：うーん、じゃ、分かったよ。何か考えておくよ。ところでさー、会場、かなり高級なとこみたいだね。おれ、スーツ、いいの持ってないよ。
女：そんなこと、気にしなくていいわよ、なんだっていいんだから。
女の人は、何のために男の人に電話をしましたか。

A woman and a man are talking.
Woman: Hello, Kato, I’m Mika.

2. Choosing the answer:
Answer: 2. スピーチを頼むため
Basing on the key words we have, perform the analysis as follows:
Answer 1: In the listening, the girl said that 出席するって返事はもらってるから、それはいいの (because we receive a reply on attendance, that’s okay) so there’s no need to confirm it => Answer 1 is not correct.
Answer 3: About suit, only when the man is worried, the woman reassure that なんだっていいんだから (wearing anything is okay) so this is not the purpose of this phone => Answer 3 is not correct.
Answer 4: In the listening there is no segment in which the woman asked the man what kind of magic he will do => Answer 4 is not correct.
