Describe an even, a state that is unfinished, or haven’t happened.
For example
僕はまだ部屋を片付けていません。母が知っていたらぜひ叱られるだろう。
Boku ha mada heya o kataduke te i mase n. Haha ga shitte i tara zehi shikarareru daro u.
I haven’t finished cleaning yet. If my mother knows, I will definitely be scolded.
今朝寝坊したので、まだ朝ご飯を食べていません。
kon asanebou shi ta node, mada asa gohan o tabe te i mase n.
I woke up late so I was late to school today.
まだ仕事を終わっていません。
mada shigoto o owatte i mase n.
I haven’t done work yet.
