Meaning and how to use :
Describe the meaning “also, moreover”. It is used to talk about things that are the same type.
Example:
1. あの人は優秀な学生、また有名な学者です。
Anohito ha yuushuu na gakusei, mata yuumei na gakusha desu.
That person is an excellent student and also a famous scholar.
2. この機械は重い、または形が悪いです。
Kono kikai ha omoi, mataha katachi ga warui desu.
This machine is heavy and its shape is also bad.
3. このスカートは色がいい、またパターンも美しい。
Kono suka-to ha iroga ii, mata pata-n mo utsukushii.
This skirt has good color; moreover, its pattern is beautiful.
4. 東京は料理が美味しい、また光景も美しい。
Toukyou ha ryouri ga oishii, mata koukei mo utsukushii.
Tokyo has delicious food; moreover, the scenery is beautiful.
5. このレストランは雰囲気がいい、また値段がやすい。
Konoresutoran ha funiki ga ii, mata nedan ga yasui.
This restaurant has a good atmosphere and the price is also cheap.
Note: It is often used in the form of 「また…も」
