Meaning and how to use :
Describe the meaning “have done something in the past”.
Example:
アメリカに旅行したことがあります。
Amerika ni ryokou shita koto ga arimasu.
I have traveled to the United States.
首相に目にかかったことがあります。
Shushou ni me ni kakatta koto gaarimasu.
I have met the prime minister.
日本能力試験を受けしたことがあります。
Nihonnouryoku shiken wo ukeshita koto ga arimasu.
I have taken the Japanese language proficiency test.
外国に行ったことがありません。
Gaikoku ni itta koto ga arimasen.
I have never been to any foreign country.
以前この歌を聞いたことがありません。
Izen kono uta wo kiita koto ga arimasen.
