Meaning and how to use :
Means “N2 is the product of/ made in N1”. N1 can be the name of a country, company. In this structure, the question word is “どこ”
For example
このパソコンはどこのですか。
Kono pasokon ha doko no desu ka.
Which country company is this computer made in?
そのかばんはどこのですか.
sono kaban ha doko no desu ka .
Which country/company is this bag from?
A:「あれはどこの電話ですか。」
B:「アメリカのです。」
ei: ‘are ha doko no denwa desu ka.’
bī: ‘amerika no desu.’
A: “Which country makes this phone?”
B: “It’s America.”
それはどこの商品ですか。いいですね。
sore ha doko no shouhin desu ka. Ii desu ne.
Which country make this goods? How good.
A:「この冷蔵庫はどこのですか。」
B:「東芝のです。」
ei: ‘kono reizouko ha doko no desu ka.’
bī: ‘toushiba no desu.’
A: “Which company is this fridge made in?”
B: “It’s Toshiba.”
