Formation :
N/Aな+になる
Aい+くなる
Vようになる
Meaning and how to use :
Describe the meaning “the change of something has reached a new stage”.
Example:
雨が強くなりました。
ame ga tsuyoku narimashita.
The rain has become heavy.
この街はにぎやかになりました
Konomachi ha nigiyaka ni narimashita.
This town has become lively.
あの先生は厳しくなりました。
Anosensei ha kibishiku narimashita.
That teacher has become strict.
有希ちゃんはだんだん背が高くなっている。
Yuki chan ha dandan se ga takakunatteiru.
Yuki is getting taller gradually.
クイズは難しくなる順序を決められます。
Kuizu ha muzukashikunaru junjo wo kimeraremasu.
The quizzes are arranged in order of getting more and more difficult.
Note: There is a difference between 「なる」 and「する」. It is:
+ 「する」expresses deliberate change of the incident and people impacted on it
+ 「なる」expresses the natural change of the incident
