It is used to ask someone to do something.
Example:
1. もう黙ってくれ。何でも聞きたくない。
Moudamattekure. Nandemo kikitakunai.
Just shut up already. I don’t want to hear anything.
2. うるさいよ。出かけてくれ。
Urusai yo, Dekaketekure.
You are noisy. Get out of here.
3. 早く来てくれ。
Hayaku kitekure.
Come here quickly.
4. この問題を出来るだけ早く解けてくれ。
Kono shukudai wo dekiru dake hayaku toketekure.
Solve this problem as soon as possible.
5. そんなに黙らないで。何か言ってくれ。
Sonnani damaranaide. nanika ittekure.
Don’t be so silent like that. Say something.
Note: In informal conversation, sometimes the following part of the sentence is omitted. The polite form of this structure are「Vないでください(ませんか)/いただけませんか/いただけないでしょうか」. We can also say「Vないでほしい」.
