Expressing the meaning “not enough to be considered a part of a group”.

Examples:

Ano yatsu wa baka mono to iwa remashitaga, mizu wo sake ni machigatte nomu kurainara baka mono no uchi ni hairanai.
He was said to be a fool, but only mistaking water for wine and drinking was still not a fool.

この料理は味がいいですが、美味しい料理のうちに入らない。
Kono ryouri wa aji ga ii desuga, oishii ryouri no uchi ni hairanai.
This dish taste good but not yet considered a delicious dish.

この電話は性能がいいですが、スマートホーンのうちに入らない。
Kono denwa wa seinou ga ii desuga, sumaato houn no uchi ni hairanai.
This phone has good features but still cannot be considered a smart phone.

あの子は本当に頭がいいですが、天才のうちにはいらない。
Ano ko wa hontouni atama ga iidesuga, tensai no uchi ni hairanai.
That kid is really smart but still can’t be considered the genius.

ロシアン語はちょっと複雑ですが、世界で一番難しい言語のうちにはいらない。
Roshian go wa chotto fukuzatsudesuga, sekai de ichiban muzukashii gengo no uchi ni hairanai.
Russian is a bit complicated, but still can not be considered the most difficult language in the world.
