Japanese JLPT N5 vocabulary
Hi, in order to make it easier for you to study Japanese JLPT level N5. In this post, we will introduce you Japanese JLPT N5 vocabulary lesson 1.
1. あう (au) : to meet (someone). Kanji : 会う. We use と when 2 people meet each other with previous appointment. We use に when 2 people meet without appointment. Example : スーパーでさくらさんに会いました. I met miss Sakura at Super market.
2. あお (ao) : blue color (noun). あおい (aoi) : blue (adjective). Kanji : 青い. Example : 青色の花 (aoirono hana) : flower with blue color 青い空 (aoi sora) : blue sky
3. あか (aka) : red color (noun). あかい (akai) : red (adjective). Kanji : 赤い. Example : 赤色 (akairo) のラップ : lamp with red color. あかいぼうし red hat.
4. あかるい (akarui) : bright. Kanji : 明るい. Example : でんきをつけて、へやがあかるくなった. turn on the light, and the room became bright.
5. あき (aki) : autumn, fall. Kanji : 秋. Example : 日本の秋は9月から11月までです. Autumn in Japan is from September to November.
6. あける (akeru) : to open (intransitive verb). 漢字：開ける. example : まどをあけてください please open the window.
7. あげる (ageru) : to give . 漢字：上げる. example : おとうとにおかしをあげました. I gave my younger brother candy.
8. あさ (asa) : morning. example : あさなんじおきましたか what time did you get up in the morning?
9. あし (ashi) : leg. 漢字：足. example : かのじょはあしがながい. She have long leg
10. あそぶ (asobu) : play. example : こどもはここであそびます. children play here
11. あたたかい (atatakai) : warm. example : わたしのてはあたたかいです. My hand is warm
12. あたま(atama) : head. example : あたまがいいですね . you are so intelligent
13. あつい(atsui) : hot. きょうはあついですね. It is so hot today !
14. あっち(acchi) : overthere (infomal)
15. あなた(anata) : you. ex : あたながすきです. i love you
