~てみる
Formation :
Vてみる
Explanation :
to try doing something/to try something.
Example and meaning :
１．中華料理(ちゅうかりょうり)を食(た)べてみたい。
I want to try Chinese food.
2.このシャツを着(き)てみたくない。
I don’t want to try on this shirt.
Grammar structure number 32 :
~てもらう
Formation :
Vて+もらう
Explanation :
to be helped by somebody/to be affected by somebody.
Example and meaning :
彼（かれ）に中華料理（ちゅうかりょうり）の作（つく）り方（かた）を教（おし）えてもらった。
He taught me how to cook Chinese food.
先生（せんせい）に本（ほ）んを（貸か）してもらった。
I was lent a book by my teacher.
Grammar structure number 33 :
~と~
Formation :
Vると
Explanation :
once, or every time…
used when showing the direction or using machines
to describe obvious things.
Example and meaning :
1.小(ちい)さいころの写真（しゃしん）をみると、懐（なつ）かしな。
Every time I see my childhood photos, I feel nostalgic.
2.これからまっすぐ行（い）くと、公園（こうえん）がみえる。
Going straight from here, you will see the park.
Grammar structure number 34 :
~という~
Formation :
Vる/Vた + という
N +という
Explanation :
something like that, called
Example and meaning :
1．この辺（へん）にはAMCという会社（かいしゃ）がある。
This region has a computer called AMC.
２．田中（たなか）という人（ひと）はどの人（ひと）ですか。
Who’s someone called Tanaka?
Grammar structure number 35 :
~とおりに~
Formation :
Vる/Vた+とおりに
N のとおりに
Explanation :
according to, exactly right…, right as…
Example and meaning :
1．本（ほん）の書（か）いてあるとおりにやってください。
Do exactly right as the book says.
2．先生（せんせい）の言（い）うことのとおりに書（か）いてください。
Write right as what the teacher says.
