Let’s learn Japanese ずにおく grammar zunioku :
Formation :
Vない（removeない）＋ずにおく
Meaning and how to use :
be not used, performed for some aims. Mean “so not…”
for example
彼は悲しんでいるので、何もせずにおく。
Kare ha kanashinde iru node, nani mo se zu ni oku.
Because he is sad, so i didn’t do anything (and let it be like that).
今彼女が嫌くなったから、彼女の手紙を読まずにおく。
ima kanojo ga iya kunatta kara, kanojo no tegami o yoma zu ni oku.
I hate her now, so i don’t read her letter (let the letter there).
年末新しい家を買うことにしたですから、今贅沢にお金を使わずにおく。
nenmatsu atarashii ie o kau koto ni shi ta desu kara, ima zeitaku ni okane o tsukawa zu ni oku.
I decided to buy a new house at the end of the year, so now I won’t use money luxuriously anymore (let it there to buy the house).
母のお誕生日のプレゼントを買った。母をびっくりさせるために何も言わずにおく。
haha no o tanjou bi no purezento o katta. Haha o bikkuri saseru tame ni nani mo iwa zu ni oku.
I has bought my mom a gift. Because I want to surprise her, so I didn’t say anything.
アイドルの拍手を残すために、彼女は２週間手を洗わずにおく。
aidoru no hakushu o nokosu tame ni, kanojo ha ni shuukan te o arawa zu ni oku.
To preserve the moment she got a handshake with her idol, she hasn’t cleant her hands for 2 week up to now.
Note: 1. しない becomes せずに
2. Là các biểu đạt cứng, is usually used in written language
