Meaning and how to use :
1.Describe X’s intention, plan to do something (X = third-person, first person)
For example
1. 来週 帰国するつもりだ。
Raishuu kikoku suru tsumori da.
I plan to go back to home country next week .
2. わたしは大学を卒業したあと大学院まで勉強するつもりだ。
watashi ha daigaku o sotsugyou shi ta ato daigakuin made benkyou suru tsumori da.
After graduating from university, I intend to keep going on the road of master’s degree.
3. あした 山本さんに会わないつもりだ。
ashita yamamoto san ni awa nai tsumori da.
I’ll not see Yamamoto tomorrow.
4. テニスクラブに参加するつもりだ。
tenisu kurabu ni sanka suru tsumori da.
I plan to join tenis club.
5. 松本君は会社の近くの家を買うつもりだ。
matsumoto kun ha kaisha no chikaku no ie o kau tsumori da.
Mr.Matsumoto plans to buy a house nearby his company.
