For example

親が亡くなったとき、何でも食べたくないほど悲しむ向きもある。
oya ga nakunatta toki, nani demo tabe taku nai hodo kanashimu muki mo aru.
When parents pass away, there are people who are so sad that they don’t want to eat anything.

自分の間違えた点を見つけないほど自慢する向きもある。
jibun no machigae ta ten o mitsuke nai hodo jiman suru muki mo aru.
There are people who are too arrogrant that they cannot find their bad side.

このマンションの中で犬を嫌う向きもある。
kono manshon no naka de inu o kirau muki mo aru.
There are people who hate dogs in this apartment.

私が聞くとき、返事をしない向きもある。
watashi ga kiku toki, henji o shi nai muki mo aru.
There are people who don’t answer when I ask.
