Meaning and how to use :

1. Describe advice “shouldn’t”, or “mustn’t”
Only used with : Vる+ものではない

For example

Kigaru ni shira nai hito ni okane o kasu mono de ha nai. Damasareru yo.
You shouldn’t give someone who you don’t know money. You could be fooled.

hoka no hito no itami de warau mono de ha nai.
Shouldn’t laugh at others’ sorrow.

haha o shinpai saseru mono de ha nai.
Shouldnt make mommy worried.

2. Describe strong negation “not able to…”. Used with bad appreciation, or behind word expressing chance.
Only use with: Vた+ものではない

For example

konna tenki ni, aomori ni kitarare ta mono de ha nai.
We are not able to come to Aomori in this weather.

sonna muzukashii shukudai, gakusei ha deki ta mono de ha nai.
Student cannot do this hard tests

soto ha ooame ga futte i te, kasa o motte i nai node, ie ni kaerare ta mono de ha nai.
It rains heavily outside, so i cant go home.

Note: The second usage is usually used in spoken language. Intimately speak: 「もんじゃない」
