Meaning and how to use :
Expresses the meaning “there are always those things..”. Often translated as “always”.
Examples:
毎日体力が要求する仕事ずくめをしているから、体はいつも疲れている。
Mainichi tairyoku ga youkyuu suru shigoto zukume o shi te iru kara, karada ha itsumo tsukare te iru.
I do physical works everyday so my body is always tired.
彼は白い服ずくめ着ている。
Kare ha shiroi fuku zukume ki te iru.
He always wears white clothes.
最近、いいことずくめ起こっていて、本当に幸いだ。
Saikin, ii koto zukume okotte i te, hontouni saiwai da.
Good things have been happening to me often lately, I’m really lucky.
先生はクラス全員に面白いことずくめ話しています。
Sensei ha kurasu zenin ni omoshiroi koto zukume hanashi te i masu.
The teacher always tell interesting stories to our class.
私たちの学校は厳しさで有名だ。校内では規則ずくめだ。
Watashi tachi no gakkou ha kibishi sa de yuumei da. Kounai de ha kisoku zukume da.
Our school is famous for its strictness. There are rules everywhere.
Note:
This structure can’t be used with some nouns like 「赤ずくめ」、「本ずくめ」。
