Describing the situation that an action or transformation will continue to progress toward the future by taking a certain time as a benchmark and calculating it after that time.
Examples
彼女と結婚した後、この仕事をしていくつもりです。
Kanojo to kekkon shita nochi, kono shigoto wo shite iku tsumoridesu.
I will continue doing this work after marrying her.
あの画家は有名になっていく。
Ano gaka wa yuumei ni natte iku.
That painter becomes more famous.
この話題を研究していくつもりだ。
Kono wadai wo kenkyuu shite iku tsumorida.
I am going to continue studying this topic.
あの先生からいいことを習っていく。
Ano sensei kara ii koto wo naratte iku.
I am going to learn more from that teacher.
