Describe the meaning “as one would expect; even; as is to be expected”.

Example:

これは君が一人で作ったのか。さすがすごいね。
Kore ha kimi ga hitorde tsukutta noka. Sasuga sugoi ne.
Did you make this by yourself? As I expected, you are great.

さすが石田さんですね。こんなに難しい質問を答えられるなんて、上手ですね。
Sasuga ishida san desune, Konna ni muzukashii shitsumon wo kotaerarerunante jouzu desune.
As expected of Mr. Ishida. He is excellent at answering difficult questions like these.

さすが有名なレストランだ。料理もおいしいし、雰囲気もいいし、本当に理想なところだ。
Sasuga yuumei na resutoran da. Ryouri mo oishii shi, funiki mo ii shi, hontou ni risou na tokoro da.
As I expected, it is a famous restaurant. The food is delicious, the atmosphere is also good and it really is an ideal place.

さすが天才だ。こんなものを発明できるんだ。
Sasuga tensai da. Konna mono wo hatsumei dekirun da.
As I expected, you are a genius. You can invent something like this.

さすがいいものだ。5階から落ちたのに壊れない。
Sasuga ii mono da. Gokai kara ochita noni kowarenai.
As I expected, it’s a good thing. Although it fell from the 5th floor, it isn’t broken.

Note: It is usually used at the beginning of the sentence in the form「さすが(は)Nだ」 or「さすがだ」. It is used only in case of positive reviews.
