Meaning and how to use :
Describing the wishes that someone will suffer a bad thing. This structure is used to condemn, backbite or curse someone.
Examples:
お前のような人、運が悪いことが起こってばかりいるがいいよ。
Omae no youna hito, un ga warui koto ga okotte bakari iruga ii yo.
Hope that bad luck will continue to happen to people like you.
あのやつが事故に遭うがいいよ。
Ano yatsu ga jikoniau ga ii yo.
Hope that he will get into an accident.
お母さんを殺すなんてそんなに悪人なら死ぬがいい。
Okaasan o korosu nante sonnani akunin nara shinu ga ii.
Someone so bad to the point he kills his own mother should just die.
試験でいつもカンニングしている彼女は悪い点を取るがいい。
Shiken de itsumo kanningu shite iru kanojo wa warui ten wo toruga ii.
The person who is always cheating during a test like her should receive a bad grade.
動物をよくいじめるあの子は誰かにいじめられるがいい。
Doubutsu wo yoku ijimeru anokoha dareka ni ijime rareruga ii.
Hoping that the child that bullies animal is also bullied by someone.
