Meaning and how to use :

Describe “Not too serious”. Used to describe low level event .

Ex:

先生に関係するほどのことではないよ。
Sensei ni kankei suru hodo no koto de ha nai yo.
It is not the issue which is relevant to the teacher.

そんなに嬉しく笑うほどのことではない。
sonnani ureshiku warau hodo no koto de ha nai.
That is not the thing that makes us laugh happily like that.

合格しなかったが、自殺するほどの問題ではない
goukaku shi nakatta ga, jisatsu suru hodo no mondai de ha nai
Failing is not too serious that you have to suicide

解けないほどのテストではないよ。がんばって。
toke nai hodo no tesuto de ha nai yo. Ganbatte.
Try your best. It’s not too hard for you to solve this problem

それは全部を換えるほどの大切な物ではない。
sore ha zenbu o kaeru hodo no taisetsu na mono de ha nai.
It’s not too important to trade off everything you have.
