Meaning and how to use :
Describe repetitive actions which is always in that state. Used in criticizing, means “always”
For example
彼は勉強してばかりいて、いつも100点を得る。
Kare ha benkyou shi te bakari i te, itsumo ichi zero zero ten o eru.
He always studies hard and gets 100 points.
わが上司は文句を言ってばかりいる。
waga joushi ha monku o itte bakari iru.
My boss is always complaining.
彼女はうそを言ってばかりいます。
kanojo ha uso o itte bakari i masu.
She is always lying.
父は朝から晩まで仕事をしてばかりいて、病気になる恐れがある。
chichi ha asa kara ban made shigoto o shi te bakari i te, byouki ni naru osore ga aru.
Working continuosly all day. I worry he’ll get sick.
どうして君はおっしゃってばかりいるの?うるさい。黙れ。
doushite kimi ha osshatte bakari iru no? urusai. Damare.
Why are you always talking? So noisy, shut up please!
