Meaning and how to use :
1.Describe emphasis the contradiction. not… even a little, not at all
For example
｢この間 旅行行ったんだけど、ちっとも楽しくなかった。｣
‘konokan ryokou okonatta n da kedo, chittomo tanoshiku nakatta.’
“Recently I have travelled, but I didn’t feel happy at all.”
最近 よく運動したがちっとも痩せなかった。
saikin yoku undou shi ta ga chittomo yase nakatta.
I’ve been done excercise thesedays, I didn’t lose weight at all.
昨日遅くまで起きたが今日はちっとも眠くない。
kinou osoku made oki ta ga kyou ha chittomo nemuku nai.
I stayed up late lastnight, but this morning I wasn’t asleep at all.
いつも一生懸命 勉強したがちっとも上達しない。
itsumo isshoukenmei benkyou shi ta ga chittomo joutatsu shi nai.
I study everyday, but i’m not improved at all.
買いたいものをかみに書いたが卵を書くのをちっとも覚えていなかった。
kai tai mono o kami ni kai ta ga tamago o kaku no o chittomo oboe te i nakatta.
Things that would be bought had been written down, but I had fogoten to write add eggs.

ちっとも～ない：Is usually used in spoken language, expresses disappointment.
