Meaning and how to use :
Describe “after that”. To list thing in chronological order.
For example
漫画を読んだ後で、寝ました。
Manga o yon da nochi de, ne mashi ta.
After finishing reading the comic, I went to sleep.
掃除の後で、シャーワーを浴びろうと思う。
souji no nochi de, shāwā o abiro u to omou.
I intend to take a bath after cleaning.
ご飯を食べた後で、すぐテレビを見るので、おなかが痛くなっている。
gohan o tabe ta nochi de, sugu terebi o miru node, onaka ga itaku natte iru.
My stomach gets hurt because I watched TV right after I had had meal.
授業の後で、友達と遊びに行く。
jugyou no nochi de, tomodachi to asobi ni iku.
I had come to my friend’s house after school.
大学を卒業した後で、すぐいい会社に勤めたいです。
daigaku o sotsugyou shi ta nochi de, sugu ii kaisha ni tsutome tai desu.
After graduating, I want to immediately work in a good company.
Note: We can replace “で” with “に”
