Meaning and how to use :

Expresses the meaning “Can not/can’t hold/can’t stop..”. Often used with verbs indicating thoughts, emotions, behaviors of human.


Kono hanashi ha wasure ta hou ga ii to shitte iru ga, sore no imi nitsuite kangae nai de ha irare nai.
I know that I should forget that story but I just can’t stop thinking about its meaning.

Kaidan o koron de itaku te naka nai de ha irare nai.
I fell down from the stairs and was hurt so I couldn’t hold back my tears.

Sonnani akunin ha tasuke nai hou ga ii desu ga kekkyoku tasuke nai de ha irare nai.
