~に/へ+いらっしゃる/いらっしゃいます

Meaning and how to use :

This is a formal form of「いる」、「来る」、「行く」、「ている」 to express the behaviors of people with position or age higher than the speaker. For example, bosses, teachers, owners..

Examples:

今、社長は会議室にいらっしゃいます。
Ima, shachou ha kaigi shitsu ni irasshai masu.
The president is currently in the conference room.

来年、中村先生はアメリカにいらっしゃいますね。
Rainen, nakamura sensei ha amerika ni irasshai masu ne.
Teacher Nakamura is going to America next year right?

部長は何でいらっしゃいますか。
Buchou ha nande irasshai masu ka.
What’s the manager (head of the office) doing?

首相のあべ様は僕たちの社会の忘年会にいらっしゃいますよ。
Shushou no a be sama ha boku tachi no shakai no bounenkai ni irasshai masu yo.
The Prime Minister Abe will be attending our company’s party.

こちらは私の客の高橋様でいらっしゃいます。
Kochira ha watashi no kyaku no takahashi sama de irasshai masu.
This is my guest, Mr Takahashi.

Note: In spoken form, “いらっしゃってください” is sometimes pronounced as “いらしてください”.
