Meaning and how to use :

Used to indicate that the level mentioned is higher than the current level.

Example:

もっと広い家を紹介してください。
Motto hiroi ie wo shoukai shitekudasai.
Please introduce to me a larger house.

雨がもっと強くなる。
Ame ga motto tsuyoku naru.
The rain gets stronger.

もっと有名なレストランを教えてくれない。
Motto yuumei na resutoran wo oshietekurenai.
Can you tell me a more famous restaurant?

外はもっと寒くなる。
Soto ha motto samukunaru.
It gets colder outside.

もっといいことにあいますように。
Motto ii koto ni aimasu youni.
I hope you will meet something better.

Note: This word also comes with nouns that can measure their level such as 「前、後、上、下」 . This structure is used in speaking.
