Expressing that the speaker is determined to do something strongly to encourage himself or express his own determination.

Examples:

君が賛成しなくても最後までやるのだ。
Kimi ga sansei shinakute mo saigomade yaru noda.
Even if you don’t agree, I will still do it until the end.

皆にバカだといわれても私が自分の意見が正しいと思うのだ。
Mina ni bakada to iwa rete mo watashi ga jibun no iken ga tadashii to omou noda.
Although everyone said that it was stupid, I still think my opinion is correct.

皆に反対されてもがんばるのだ。
Mina ni hantai sa rete mo ganbaru noda.
Despite being opposed by everyone, I will still try.

誰でも気にしなくてもこのプログラムを最後までやるのだ。
Dare demo ki ni shinakute mo kono puroguramu wo saigomade yaru noda.
Although no one notices, I will still keep working on this project to the end.

彼のほうを賛成するのだ。
Kare no hou wo sansei suru noda.
I will still agree with him.
