Examples:

She has a bored attitude like about to give up.

この子は親に叱られて、泣かぬばかりに可哀相な顔をしている。
Kono ko wa oya ni shikara rete, nakanu bakari ni kawai souna kao wo shite iru.
This child was scolded by his parents and he is making a pitiful face like he is about to cry.

彼は我慢できぬばかりの様子を出す。
Kare wa gaman dekinu bakari no yousu wo dasu.
He looks like he couldn’t bear it anymore.

あの人は何か言わぬばかりなのに、やめることにしました。
Ano hito wa nani ka iwanu bakarinanoni, yameru koto ni shimashita.
It seemed that he was about to say something but he chose to remain silent.

彼女はこの話を私に話さぬばかりにしています。
Kanojo wa kono hanashi wo watashi ni hanasanu bakari ni shite imasu.
She seems like she is going to tell me that story.
