Example:

Takaga kodomo no fuku nanoni sanmanen nante takasugirun janai.
Just the clothes for children but they cost 30,000 yen? Aren’t they too expensive?
たかが普通のサラリーマンなのに私のことを批判するなんて認められない。
Takaga futsuu no sarari-man nanoni watashi no koto wo hihansurunante mitomerarenai.
Just an ordinary office worker but he criticizes me like that, it is unacceptable.
たかが子供の言葉なので信じないほうがいい。
Takaga kodomo no kotoba nanode shinji nai hou gaii.
It’s just the words that children say, so you shouldn’t believe it.
たかが小さいハチなので気にするな。
Takaga chiisai hachi nanode kini suruna.
It’s just a small bee, so don’t worry.
たかが根拠がないうわさなので本当にしないでください。
Takaga konkyo ga nai uwasa nanode hontou ni shinaidekudasai.
It’s just an absurd rumor, so don’t take it for real.
