Describing the meaning “N1 or N2”. Use with the implication of giving two possibilities and asking the listener to choose one of the two possibilities.

Note: This structure is not used in case of instructing the other what to do. Also used in case which you do not know which one to choose. In this case, it is possible to use 「あ る い は」 instead.
