Example:

Mainichi tabako wo nihon suginakute suwanai koto ni shiteiru.
I decided not to smoke more than 2 cigarettes a day.

運動不足解消のため、僕は駅から会社まで歩くことにしている。
Undou fusoku kaishou no tame, boku ha eki kara kaisha made aruku koto ni shiteiru.
To eliminate the lack of exercise, I decided to walk from the station to the company.

毎日公園を散歩することにしている。
Mainichi kouen wo sanpo suru koto ni shiteiru.
I decided to take a walk in the park every day.

日本語能力をアップするために毎日日本語を勉強することにしている。
Nihongo nouryoku wo appu suru tameni mainichi nihongo wo benkyou suru koto ni shiteiru.
To improve my Japanese language proficiency, I decided to study Japanese every day.

酒を飲まないことにしている。
Sake wo nomanai koto ni shiteiru.
I decided not to drink alcohol anymore.
