Meaning and how to use :
This is a humble way of speaking. The subject is the speaker (First person).
Example:
先生を空港までお送りいたします。
Sensei wo kuukou made ookuriitashimasu.
I will take the teacher to the airport.
小包はお宅までお届きいたします。
Kodutsumi ha otaku made otodokiitashimasu.
The parcel will be delivered to your house.
今届いた荷物をお持ちいたします。
Ima todoita nimotsu wo omochiitashimasu.
I will bring the luggage that has been received right now.
すぐに田中様にお電話いたします。
Sugu ni Tanaka sama ni o denwaitashimasu.
I will call Mr. Tanaka immediately.
部長にまだご連絡いたしません。
Buchou ni mada gorenraku itashimasen.
I haven’t contacted the general manager yet.
Note: In case of using with Chinese-Japanese nouns, this structure becomes「ごNいたす」. This is more polite than「お…する」. It is mainly used in form of [ます].
