Meaning and how to use :

Expressing the meaning “even though there are/ no matter how … “. This structure is used to emphasize the latter clause.

Examples:

いかにプロな人でもこんなに故障したら直せません。
Ikani purona hito demo konnani koshou shitara naosemasen.
No matter how good a person is, it can’t be repaired if it’s broken like that.
