Formation :

Aい(remove い)+かれAい(remove い)+かれ

Meaning and how to use :

Expressing the meaning “no matter how”. This structure is used as an idiom. Use with adjectives with opposite meanings. It also has form「よかれあしかれ」.

Examples:

寒かれ暑かれぜひに出かけます。
Samukare atsukare zehi ni dekakemasu.
Whether cold or hot, I will go out.

遅かれ早かれどうか着てください。
Osokare hayakare douka kite kudasai.
Whether early or late, please come.

忙しかれ忙しくなかれ連絡してください。
Isogashi kare isogashiku naka re renraku shite kudasai.
Whether you are busy or not, please contact me.

よかれあしかれ到着するとき私に一言を言ってください。
Yokare ashikare touchaku suru toki watashi ni hitokoto wo itte kudasai.
For better or worse, please say a word to me when you arrive.

喜ばしかれ悲しかれちゃんと授業に行ってください。
Yorokobashikare kanashikare chan to jugyou ni itte kudasai.
Whether you are sad or happy, go to class.
