Meaning and how to use :

Something is not done, relized.

For example

1`. 宿題をまだしていない。
Shukudai o mada shi te i nai.
I haven’t done my homework yet.

2. 部屋を片付けていません。
Shukudai o mada shi te i nai.
I haven’t cleaned the room yet.

3. まだ市場に行っていませんよ。
mada shijou ni itte i mase n yo.
I haven’t gone shoped yet.

4. A:「このフィルムを見ているの。」
B:「見ていませんよ。」
ei: ‘kono firumu o mi te iru no.’
bī: ‘mi te i mase n yo.’
A: “Have you watched this film?”
B: “Not yet.”

5. 今忙しいので、レポートをまだ書いていないのはもちろんです。
ima isogashii node, repōto o mada kai te i nai no ha mochiron desu.
I’m busy, so naturally I haven’t done the report yet.

Note : In some cases we use “まだVない”, but “まだVていない” is used more often as it is more natural.
