Meaning and how to use :
Expresses the meaning “If…/ suppose that…. To begin the conversation.
For example
1. 数学なら彼女に聞いてみて。
suugaku nara kanojo ni kii te mi te
If it’s about math then try asking her.
2. 旅行ならあまり行かないからよく分からないよ。
ryokou nara amari ika nai kara yoku wakara nai yo
If it’s about tourism, I won’t know well because I don’t travel much.
3. 詳しい情報ならウェブサイトに載せるでしょうね。
kuwashii jouhou nara ni noseru desho u ne
If it’s about detailed information, it might be posted on the website.
4. 動物なら私より中村さんがよく知っているよ。
doubutsu nara watakushi yori nakamura san ga yoku shitu te iru yo
If it’s about animal, Mr. Nakamura will know more than me.
5. 試験の結果ならみんなに早く届けるので心配しないでください。
