Meaning and how to use :

Expresses the meaning “If somebody keeps doing something…negative things happen.”. The structure is used to warn other by telling their bad point and advising them changing their attitude.
For example

ゲームをしていては体が壊されますよ。
gemu wo shi te i te ha tei ga kowasa re masu yo
If you keep playing game, your body will be ruined.

そんなに他の人のいい点を見て嫉妬していては自分がうまくなりませんよ。
sonnani ta no hito no ii ten wo mi te shitto shi te i te ha jibun ga umaku nari mase n yo
If you keep looking at other’s good point then envy, you will never be better.

仕事を過度にしていては衰弱しますよ。
shigoto wo kado ni shi te i te ha suijaku shi masu yo
If you keep overworking, you will break down.

食べしていては太りやすくなります。
tabe shi te i te ha futori yasuku nari masu
If you keep eating, you will get fat easily.

他の人に文句を言っていてはみんなに嫌われますよ。
ta no hito ni monku wo itu te i te ha minna ni kirawa re masu yo
If you keep complaining about others, people will hate you.
