Consultation for problems
[Problem] My problem is that I can’t get up in the morning. Even though I have three alarm clocks, I still can’t get up. I try to sleep early in the evening, but I’m worried if I can get up in the morning or not, so I can’t sleep well. A friend in the next room says, “I am awakened by your alarm clock every morning,” but I don’t notice that. Even if I notice, I will stop it and then sleep again. What should I do?
(Ogawa Takeshi – A student)
[Answer] Firstly, before you go to bed, read a difficult and uninteresting book. You’ll be sleepy soon. Then set the three alarm clocks to ring at different times and put them in various places. When the clocks ring, you will have to get up to stop them, so you will wake up. If that doesn’t work, ask your friend in the next room to wake you up.
